Welcome Dr Ming Haw Yong
We are delighted to welcome Dr Ming Haw Yong to Myhealth Boronia.
Dr Ming Haw Yong completed his medical degree at University of Dundee in UK in 2006. Since graduating, he has worked at multiple hospitals in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Melbourne, with extensive experience in acute and emergency medicine.
Ming has special interests in chronic disease management, acute medicine, skin, sexual health and preventative medicine. He is also able to provide cosmetic injectables with anti-wrinkles and dermal fillers, and bio-remodelling/anti aging injections. Occasionally, he will work in the Emergency Department to maintain his skills and interests.
He is also able to consult in Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.
He specialises in: Skin cancer checks, Minor surgical procedures, Cosmetics injections, Immunisations, Sexual health, Chronic disease management, Preventative medicine, Acute and emergency medicine

Dr. Lin Khine has been practicing as a family GP for over 10 years.
As a GP, he looks forward to building warm and friendly professional relationships with his patients based on mutual trust and respect. He has a strong focus on providing a holistic approach and high-quality care.
He enjoys working with his patients in a professional and caring manner.
He specialises in: Family Medicine, Skin Cancer Medicine & Chronic Disease Management.

Bulk billing is available for all MyMedicare Enrolled patients until 1st April 2024 for weekdays consult only. Enrolled concession card holders will be bulk billed including weekends consult from 1st November 2023.
For NON MyMedicare enrolled patients without concession, the following will apply
- A HIGHER GAP FEE of $30 is applicable to all week day consultations including Face to Face and Telehealth.
- HIGHER GAP FEE $60 is applicable for long consultations > 20 minutes.
- Pensioner/Concession/Under 16 will be bulk billed for weekdays consult only. To qualify for weekend consult please Enrol or ask our receptionist on how to Enrol.
- These changes will come into effect from 1st November 2023.
Bulk billing is available for short consults (e.g. script repeats, sick/carer certificate, administering vaccination).

What is private billing?
Private billing means that patients will be charged an out of pocket gap fee for the consultation on the day.
We will continue to Bulk Bill DVA/Age Pensioners, Concession Card holders, and Children under the age of 16.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full amount of consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then, process your Medicare Rebate on behalf of you electronically. The
rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot.
Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient funds in your account.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
No show/ cancellation fee for GP/NP appointment 2 hours prior to the appointment: $30-$60
No show/ cancellation fee for Allied Health Appointment 24 hours prior to the appointment: $30
