Change of Fees
From 1st February 2023
As costs are continuously rising and Medicare rebates are limited, our clinic is now required to move to a Mixed billing model to provide viability for our patient.
GP consultations will be subject to a $30-$50 Gap fee.
Children under 16 (Medicare card holders) and pensioners/concession card holders will continue to be eligible for bulk billing on weekdays.
Myhealth has two medical centre locations within Eastland Shopping Centre located on Level 1 (Myhealth Ringwood) and Level 3 (Myhealth Eastland).

Both medical centres are mixed billing providing the highest standard of medical care to all our patients. Appointments and walk-ins welcome.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings. When booking please take note of which centre (and level) where your appointment has been made.

Telehealth consults and Covid-19
To assist us in providing the highest quality of care possible, we ask that if you are experiencing:- a fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough or body aches (regardless of your recent COVID results) please stay home and call the clinic prior to attending for a consultation.
In line with the Medicare changes you need to have attended the clinic for a face to face appointment in the last 12 months to be eligible for a Telehealth Appointment. If you haven’t been into the clinic in the last 12 months that’s ok we can advise you of alternative arrangements whilst on the phone.
All NEW patients need to bring their PHOTO ID and Medicare Care Card or Insurance Card/Details to their Appointment (physical ID not electronic copies preferred). If these are not bought on the day we may need to reschedule your appointment.
As of 1st of February, these will be our new Medicare fees
- $30 GAP FEE apply to all weekday consultations including Face to Face and Telehealth
$40 GAP FEE apply to FACE to FACE consultations on weekends and public holidays
$52.05 GAP FEE apply to TELEHEALTH consultations on weekends and public holidays
- Pensioners/concession card holders and children under 16 will continue to receive bulk billing on weekdays and will pay a reduced gap fee on Saturdays
- $50 GAP FEE apply to same day Walk-in Appointments for consultations
What is mixed billing?
Mixed billing means that most patients will be paying a “gap fee” for their appointment. The gap fee is an out of pocket cost the difference of the Medicare rebate and our practice’s fee.
How will the fee be processed?
Upon completion of your consultation, you will be charged for the full amount of the consultation fee. We will electronically submit your Medicare rebate for you and you will receive the rebate within 1-2 business days in your bank account.
Alternatively, you may bring your debit or savings card and we will be able to credit your rebate into your account immediately.
Please make sure your Medicare card information is up-to-date and sufficient funds in your bank account for instant rebate.

- Patients booking double appointments will attract a higher gap subject to the attending GP.
- GP generated recalls, Care Plans and reviews, Health Assessments or patients experiencing financial hardship may also be eligible for Bulk-Billing.
- Bulk billing is at the discretion of the individual Doctor
Allied health Fees
Patients with a care plan may access Medicare rebate for up to 5 allied health services per calendar year. It is important for patients to keep track of their EPC visit with their allied health providers otherwise a standard consultation fee will be charged after 5 rebateable services. We accept insurance or out of pocket payment. Please call our clinic for more information.

Myhealth has mixed billing clinics in two locations in Eastland Shopping Centre: one on Level 1 of the Eastland Shopping Centre – Myhealth Ringwood medical clinic and one on level 3 – Myhealth Ringwood medical centre. Each clinic is staffed by a team of accredited GPs together with allied health professionals covering services including physiotherapy, dietetics, osteopathy, and podiatry together with pathology services. We offer appointments to both registered and walk-in patients and Telehealth appointments are also available.
The Ringwood Clinic is open 6 days a week, while the Ringwood clinic is open on weekdays from 9 am to 5:30 pm and closed on weekends. The combined opening times give patients plenty of scope to find a suitable appointment with an Ringwood GP. We also offer out-of-hours medical services via the Medinet app or by calling 13 SICK (13 7425) for the National Home Doctors Service.
