OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
Welcome to Myhealth Bayside, a Mixed Billing Medical Centre conveniently located in Bayside Shopping Centre.
This purpose-built clinic opened its doors in April 2017 and offers the highest standard of medical care. We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, convenient, accessible and professional service to all our patients.
Myhealth Bayside is an accredited practice and is also an accredited GP registrar training facility.

Over the past few years medical service costs have increased substantially, however Medicare rebates costs have not increased in line with these inflations. Therefore we are unfortunately unable to sustain a 100% bulk billing practice.
From 1st August 2022, we changed to a ‘mixed billing’ practice.
Full payment will apply to all consults including Telehealth appointments, with the exception of chronic disease care plans, mental health care plans, flu and covid vaccine bookings.
Concession card holders and children under the age of 18 will continue to be bulk billed.
What is the cost?
Patients will need to pay for the standard Medicare fee PLUS an out of pocket gap fee of $20, this will increase to $30 on the 1st July 2023.
How will the fee be processed?
Patients will need to pay the full consultation with their credit or debit card. The Medicare fee will be reimbursed into your bank account within 1-2 business days (with valid bank account details as stored by Medicare).
All OVHC/OSHC Insurance holders will be charged the full consultation fee and given a tax invoice to claim back through their insurer.

When you’re looking for a bulk billing doctor in Frankston (please note that we offer bulk billing only for under 18 year olds, Concession card holders, care plans and mental health care plans), you want a clinic that’s easy to get to with convenient surgery hours. At Myhealth Bayside, you’ll find doctors available 5 days a week in our Beach Street clinic. We’re open from 9 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. If you need help outside of normal practice hours, you can access our out-of-hours service via the Medinet app.

New Patients Welcome at Our Myhealth Frankston Medical Centre
We currently have availability to accept new patients at our Myhealth Frankston medical centre. To register, simply complete our online registration form. Once submitted, you can book appointments online or by contacting the centre and can keep updated on your medical records via the MyPractice app. The app gives you secure access to your prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals, pathology results and more via your smartphone. It’s just another way we’re making medical services more convenient.
