Meet Dr Yip Yew Thum
Graduated from Monash University in 2011 and completed his internship at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide SA.
After completion of his Fellowship of Royal Australian College of GP (FRACGP) in 2016, he moved to Victoria in early 2017. He has completed additional training in Medical Acupuncture with AMAC (diploma Acupuncture), Skin cancer Medicine, and diploma in Dermoscopy (detection of skin cancer).
As an advocate of preventive medicine, he is passionate on delivering high quality, accessible care to his local community and to change the perception of modern healthcare.
His field of interest includes Cardiovascular diseases, Diabetes, Weight management, Musculoskeletal issues, Chronic Pain issues (and minimising opiate use), Skin cancer detection.
He is able to consult proficiently in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and able to converse in Bahasa Melayu.
