Important Changes to Billing Policy
These changes will come into effect from NOVEMBER 2023
Dear Valued Patients
We write to inform you of important changes to our billing policy at MyHealth Point Cook. After long careful consideration we have made the decision to introduce Private Mixed billing to this clinic from Monday to Saturday for all consultation. Some patients will continue to be bulk-billed or will be eligible for a concession fee. (Patients under 16 years old, over 65 years old, Pensioner Concession Card/ Healthcare card holder).
Telehealth consultation is now Privately billed and prepayment applies.

About Myhealth Point Cook
Myhealth Point Cook Medical Centre is a Private Mixed Billing medical centre.
We are also a Yellow Fever Certified Clinic, which means you can receive your yellow fever vaccination here.
We are extending our hours of operation which will now include Sundays. The commencement of Sunday opening has not yet been confirmed this will take place shortly.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.
TRAVEL VACCINE Patients
Please book your appointment with our doctor and nurse, 4 weeks before your travel date, to get your prescriptions and to have enough time to get the travel vaccines from the chemist.
Please note: Some chemists are running low on travel vaccines.
IRON INFUSION
Starting date: 26th June 2023 – Monday
Book a standard consultation with any of the Doctors to get the prescription for the iron infusion.
Patient needs to pay $200 (Rebate MBS Item 36 – $76.95) upon booking the iron infusion appointment.
- Book 30 mins with Dr Olvia and Nurse (Arjun)
- $50 Non-Attendance Fee for Iron Infusion
- Cancellation – 2 days before the IRON INFUSION appointment
- Dr Olivia Herdiman will be the attending Doctor on the day of appointment

Pricing/Fees
We are a Private Billing Practice and all patients are charged a fee for consults.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We can then process your Medicare rebate on behalf of you electronically. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot. Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient funds in your account.

MTOP Cancellation that has not provided a minimum of 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee.
