Due to costs rising and Medicare rebates are limited, our clinic will move to a Mixed Billing model as follows:
All weekday and Saturday appointments incur a $30 gap fee. This includes face to face and telehealth appointments.
We will continue to bulk bill the following Medicare patients from Monday to Friday only
• Children under 16 years of age
• Pensioner Card holders
• Healthcare Card holders
All NEW patients from the above patient groups incur a once-off $30 gap fee on their 1st visit.

What is mixed billing?
Mixed billing means that most patients will be paying a “gap fee” for their appointment. The gap fee is an out of pocket between Medicare rebate and our practice’s fee.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full amount of consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then, process your Medicare Rebate on behalf of you electronically. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot.
Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient fund in your account.
