    Meet Dr Chien-Che Lin

    Special Interests: Symptom Management and Palliative Medicine Specialist Consultant

    Dr Chien-Che Lin graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science (MBBS, BMedSci) from The University of Melbourne in 2009.

    He achieved Fellowship with Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. After obtaining Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine (Clin Dip Pall Med)

    He proceeded to achieve specialist Fellowship with Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM) in 2018 with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

    With his vision in providing holistic and family centered care, he also secured qualification in Diploma in Child Health (DCH) with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead,

    He is passionate in care provision, with ongoing research in improving health care service delivery in the community and in hospitals, especially for people living with chronic disease and symptom burdens.

    In addition to commitments in General Practice, he holds Palliative Medicine Specialist Consultant appointments across three tertiary hospital services, Austin Health, Eastern Health and Epworth HealthCare, and two specialist community palliative care services, Eastern Palliative Care and Banksia Palliative Care.

    He is actively involved in teaching and supervision of medical students and medical specialist trainees, aiming to inspire a practice culture of both academic excellence and human compassion across all clinical settings.
