Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

This purpose-built clinic opened its doors in April 2017 and offers the highest standard of medical care.We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, convenient, accessible and professional service to all our patients.

Pricing/Fees
Over the past few years medical service costs have increased substantially, however Medicare rebates costs have not increased in line with these inflations. Therefore we are unfortunately unable to sustain a 100% bulk billing practice.
From 1st March 2024, our gap fees will be $30.
Full payment will apply to all consults including Telehealth appointments, with the exception of chronic disease care plans, mental health care plans, and flu vaccine bookings.
Concession card holders and children under the age of 18 will continue to be bulk billed.
What is the cost?
Patients will need to pay for the standard Medicare fee PLUS an out of pocket gap fee of $30.
How will the fee be processed?
Patients will need to pay the full consultation with their credit or debit card. The Medicare fee will be reimbursed into your bank account within 1-2 business days (with valid bank account details as stored by Medicare).
All OVHC/OSHC Insurance holders will be charged the full consultation fee and given a tax invoice to claim back through their insurer.

New Patients Welcome at Our Myhealth Frankston Medical Centre
We currently have availability to accept new patients at our Myhealth Frankston medical centre. To register, simply complete our online registration form. Once submitted, you can book appointments online or by contacting the centre and can keep updated on your medical records via the MyPractice app. The app gives you secure access to your prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals, pathology results and more via your smartphone. It's just another way we're making medical services more convenient.

Are you a bulk billing clinic?
We are a mixed-billing clinic; however, we bulk bill for pensioners, concession card holders, and anyone under 18 years old. -
Do I require an appointment for just a prescription?
Yes, you will still need to book an appointment with your doctor, either in person or via a telephone consult.

I paid for my phone consult with the doctor via the link, how do I get my rebate back?
If you do not receive your rebate back from Medicare within 24 hours, please use your receipt to claim it back manually on the Medicare App. If you have any issues, please don't hesitate to contact our reception team.

Can I come into the clinic if I have cold or flu symptoms?
Please contact our reception team if you have any cold or flu symptoms. We will then require you to take a RAT test before attending the clinic. If the RAT test is negative, you can be seen for a face-to-face consult but will be required to wear a mask upon clinic attendance. Telehealth can be offered if the RAT test is positive.
