What is life like in Brisbane?
The climate is fantastic , imagine warm weather all year round and with a population in the region of 2.6 million, this is no regional area , but a vibrant modern city in a state blessed by nature. It's a big tourist destination, so it must be doing something right, and there is considerable cultural diversity here – another positive characteristic of our multicultural country. If you're a cricket fan (and there's no law that says you have to be, but we're pretty good at it) you will know that this is one of the cities the touring international teams come to, and the ground we call The Gabba has seen its fair share of amazing test matches. Culture vultures may feel more at home at the Gallery of Modern Art or going to the ballet, the opera or to see the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. There is plenty of outdoor activities to keep busy including gorgeous beaches, local creeks, waterfalls, pools, waterparks and more to cool off on those warmer days. This is the third largest city in Australia and is a sophisticated place with plenty to do.
