On November 1, 2023, medicare increased the Bulk Billing incentives to reflect the rising cost of rent, utilities, and medical supplies. However, this increase only applies to children under the age of 16, pensioners and concession card holders. Therefore we have been left with no option but to change our bulk-billing policy in order to maintain high quality medical care.
Starting from 2024 for ALL GPs:

We will continue to bulk-bill children under the age of 16, pensioners, and concession card holders.

All face-to-face and telehealth appointments for others will attract a gap fee of $30.

While the initial consultation may qualify for Medicare rebates, please note that the IV therapy itself is an out-of-pocket expense, priced at approximately starting from $150. Pricing/Fees
All Days
- Bulk-bill for medicare card holders who are children under the age of 16, pensioners and concession card holders
- A gap fee of $30 will apply for all other medicare card holders
- Non-medicare card holders will be required to pay a private fee
- Additional gap fees may apply for longer consults (more than 10 minutes), procedures, skin consults, and forms. For more details please contact our reception.
Note: For Medicare card holders, you will be required to pay the sum of the gap fee AND the consult fee at the end of your consultation. You can claim back the consult fee back from Medicare on the spot by bringing in a debit card (not credit card) with you.
A cancellation fee of $30 will be charged if you fail to show up to your appointment or cancel within 4 hours of your appointment.
