OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
Fee Change: from Feb 28th 2022, there will be a $30 gap for consultations (including telehealth) if you are aged 18-59 and you DON’T have a health care card or pension card.
At Myhealth we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive and holistic evidence-based care to the local community. Our team is led by passionate and caring young doctors who strive to provide high-quality care to their patients.
Myhealth Meadowbank Centre provides general practice services including antenatal care consultations, childhood immunisations, travel vaccination, skin checks, men’s and women’s health checks, minor surgery and counselling services.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.
NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY
We have a strict Non-Attendance policy and by booking an appointment you are agreeing to adhere to this policy. Please note that if you do not attend your appointment and no notice is given to reception at least 1 hour prior to the appointment time you will have a non-attendance marked in your file. Once two non-attendance appointments occur, a $50 non-attendance fee will apply. In order to be able to consult with a practitioner in future, this fee would need to be paid prior to the appointment.
OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
We would like to inform you that from Feb 28th 2022, there will be a $30 gap on general consultations (including telehealth) if you are aged 18-59 and you DON’T have a health care card or pension card. This doesn’t include appointments for COVID vaccines.
The following patients will continue to be bulk-billed to Medicare for general consultations with no gap fee:
• Patients aged under 18
• Patients aged 60 or over
• Patients with health care or pension cards
• Appointments for COVID vaccines
We are very committed to providing high quality care to our patients and community. The reason for the introduction of a gap fee for some patients, is the rising costs of running a general practice and the reluctance of the government in funding these higher costs.
