About Myhealth Marketplace Medical Clinic

Myhealth Marketplace is a medical centre conveniently located on Chambers Flat road and is co located with Radiology and Pathology.

Appointments and walk-in patients welcome.

Telehealth Appointments

Dr Hussain and Dr Tarek will no longer be doing telehealth appointments unless you are COVID positive. If you are experiencing any cough, cold or flu symptoms please wear a mask into the clinic.

Dr Julie will continue with telehealth appointments for patients who are eligible.

Please note telehealth appointments are only for results, repeat scripts or for a medical certificate only.

Any other conditions will require a face to face appointment.

Pricing/Fees

Myhealth Marketplace is now a mixed billing practice.

Our out of pocket fee is $30 which applies to ALL new patients over 12 years of age or existing patients without a health care card.

All concession card holders and 15 years of age and under will be bulk billed after their first initial consultation.

DVA gold card holders will continue to be bulk billed.

Kindly note that a $35 gap fee will apply to all Sunday and Public Holiday appointments.

S8 and Authority medication will not be prescribed by any of our Doctors at this clinic.

Update on Dr Julie’s Billing Policy

Please be advised that Dr Julie is now transitioning to private billing for all new patients. Regular patients will continue to be bulk billed as usual. We appreciate your understanding.

Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will apply for missed appointments or late cancellations within 2 hours' notice. Please note that no further appointments will be booked until any outstanding fees are settled. For long-term patients, appointments may be booked once the fee is paid, but this will not apply to newer patients.

Marketplace medical practice offers services from allied healthcare practitioners, with an audiologist, podiatrist, dietician and social worker all available to help with your medical needs. The doctors at Marketplace medical centre are dedicated to providing excellent care across a wide range of medical issues and are also available for any medical examinations necessary for work and travel.

If illness occurs after hours, Marketplace medical centre also offers an out-of-hours service. You can access this by downloading the Medinet app from your app store.

Marketplace Medical Practice Are Now Accepting New Registrations

If you don't currently have a primary care practitioner or are looking for a new medical centre, Myhealth Marketplace medical centre is now open for new registrations. You can register by clicking the link to our online registration form. This form is provided to all new patients, and we ask that you complete this before your first appointment to provide the medical staff with any relevant details.

If you need to see a doctor, Marketplace GP can also provide walk-in appointments where necessary.
