    Meet Evin Scanlon

    Evin is a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist having completed a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy on top of his Physiotherapy degree.

    Evin is recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist which represents highly qualified physiotherapists who have advanced expertise and experience in musculoskeletal clinical practice. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This qualification gives him the ability to administer exercise therapy at a high level of expertise.

    Evin began his career in the world-renowned Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, committing his clinical development in the areas of Knee and Groin Pain, Running-Related Injuries, and was lead Physiotherapist for the Foot and Ankle team.

    Evin moved to Australia to work in one of the country’s leading hip pain clinics in Brisbane while also pursuing his post graduate training at the University of Queensland. During this time, he developed clinical expertise in the assessment and management of persistent back, neck and hip pain while also developing interest in headaches, jaw pain and tendon injuries.

    Evin believes that Physiotherapy is empowering and enabling. Evin is motivated by combining effective education and enhanced manual therapy skills with exercise and strength and conditioning. He uses these in combination to alleviate pain and optimise physical function and performance for his patients.
