Graduated from prestigious BJ Medical College Pune University in 1999. He proceeded to do higher training in Australia and holds dual FRACP in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.

He has been a practising specialist consultant endocrinologist and internal medicine physician at Robina Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital for 7 years.

His areas of speciality include – Newer paradigms of treatment in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Pituitary disorders, Adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, Gonadal hormone disorders among others. Apart from being a busy clinician, he is also actively involved in academics and teaching.

He is a Senior lecturer at Griffiths university.

He has interest in research and has various academic publications to his credit, notably “Frequency of hand and shoulder symptoms in patients with Type I diabetes” published in Diabetic Medicine UK.
