Meet Dr Mar Mar Thi
Dr Mar Mar Thi completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2004, after which she practised as a hospital Doctor for 3 years in Townsville Hospital and Wollongong Hospital to gain extensive experience in many specialties such as Emergency, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, General Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Pediatrics before joining General Practice training with Southern GP training. As a GP registrar, Dr Mar worked in South and East Gippsland regions, gaining significant experience in treating patients from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Upon completion of her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Mar relocated to South Eastern Melbourne providing comprehensive health care to the community.
Dr Mar enjoys all aspects of general practice and is passionate about Women’s health, Pediatric Medicine, Preventative Medicine and Chronic disease management. In her free time, Dr Mar enjoys spending quality time with her family.
