Dr Jining ''Jin'' Dai grew up in Melbourne and after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Melbourne University, he moved locally to the Gold Coast to complete Medicine at Griffith University in 2014. 

His hospital experience includes time spent at Rockhampton, Gladstone, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Gold Coast University Hospital; with terms in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Plastics and Reconstructive surgery and General Surgery. 

He has an interest in surgery and also currently works as a Surgical Assistant at Gold Coast Private Hospital. He offers simple skin excisions, including cysts and lipomas. In addition to this, he is passionate in helping patients reach their healthcare goals through prevention, lifestyle management and evidence based care. 

He is also interested in chronic disease management including heart disease, diabetes and generally all aspects of General Practice. 

He speaks Mandarin Chinese and in his spare time enjoys spending time with family. His hobbies include playing soccer, Brazilian jiu jitsu and golf.
