Meet Dr Guo Ping Hu

Dr Erica Hu graduated from Zhongshan University (Sun Yat-sen University) in China in 1999. She spent the first 5 post graduate years training in a tertiary teaching hospital in China before moving to Australia. She completed further hospital rotations in Emergency Medicine, paediatric, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedic, rehabilitation, adult and aged person mental health at Eastern Health in Melbourne. Erica then moved to regional Victoria, in where she worked at Kyabram Regional Clinic as a GP and was also a visiting medical officer in local hospital and nursing home. She relocated back to Melbourne in 2017. Dr Erica Hu enjoys all aspects of general practice, taking holistic approach to care and preventative health. Her special clinical interests include chronic disease management, aged care, weight loss, mental health, women’s health and paediatric medicine. Erica holds a Diploma in Child Health. She is a GP registrar clinical supervisor. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her 3 kids.
