Meet Dr Andrew Harewood
Dr Andrew obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011.
He has interests in skin conditions and skin cancer medicine, mental health, gender health and neurodiverse conditions such as autism spectrum and ADHD in adults.
He also has an interest in management of chronic health conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, POTS, IBS, migraine and other associated conditions. He otherwise treats the entire range of general practice presentations.
Dr Andrew practices in a way that is holistic, compassionate and judgement free. He considers all avenues of treatment for the individual. He is registered to provide medicinal cannabis and nicotine vaping support for smoking cessation. Other treatments provided – DVA, TAC and workcover, skin lesion removal, wound repair, cortisone injections of the hip and shoulder, implanon insertion and replacement, nasal cautery, and medical termination.
In his spare time he has an avid interest in photography, playing badminton, and spending time with his children Alice and Thomas.
