About Myhealth Doncaster East Medical Clinic

Myhealth Doncaster East is a high quality accredited brand new and bulk billing medical centre, located inside The Pines Shopping Centre between Priceline & K-Mart. We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, convenient, accessible and professional service to all our patients.

New patients are welcome.

Please note that if you have any symptoms, you are required to wear a mask when visiting our practice.

For your convenience, we also offer online bookings, which allow you to cancel your appointment online.

We don’t offer any appointments NOT related to medical purposes such as:

• Certifying a copy of a document

• Statutory declaration

• Signing for as a referee

Zero Tolerance Policy

We are a non discriminatory, inclusive and caring clinic. We welcome everyone. We are dedicated to care and help everyone with respect and courtesy.

However, our practice has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards any intimidating or aggressive or violent behaviour in the clinic. Any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner in the clinic towards our reception or clinical staff or other patients will be asked to leave the premise immediately. We will also notify the police. Likewise, if any person acts in an aggressive or intimidating manner over the telephone, the telephone call will end immediately. We may also terminate future medical services and care arrangements with any such persons.

We offer bulk billing for eligible GP services, including:

- GP consultations

- Chronic condition management plans

- Mental health treatment plans

- Health assessments

Fees may apply for non-eligible services including:

- Procedures

- Diagnostic services (such as ECG and pathology)

- Allied health and non-GP services

- Non-Medicare (MBS) services

- Patients without a Medicare card

We bulk bill Medicare-eligible patients only. Patients using private health insurance will incur a gap fee, depending on the appointment length. Fees for overseas patients are different—please check with our receptionist before your appointment or refer to Consultation Fees.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

• No show/ cancellation fee for GP appointment 2 hours prior to the appointment: $30

• No show/ cancellation fee for Allied Health appointment (Physiotherapist, Dietitian) 24 hours prior to the appointment: $50

• No show/ cancellation fee for Allied Health appointment (Exercise Physiologist) 48 hours prior to the appointment: $50

• No show/ cancellation fee for Edwin Kung (Educational & Developmental Psychologist) 3 days prior to the appointment: Full fees will apply.

We also welcome both appointments and walk-ins, as well as providing Telehealth Consults. Please note that we have a cancellation and no-show policy stipulating a $30 fee for a no-show or cancelled GP/NP appointment 2 hours before the scheduled appointment and a $50 fee for a no-show or cancellation for Allied Health Appointment 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Doncaster East Medical Centre

Are you a bulk billing clinic?

Yes. From November 1, 2025 our billing policy has been updated to align with the new Medicare bulk billing initiative, providing Medicare-eligible patients the opportunity to access high-quality care with no out-of-pocket costs.

Am I eligible for Telehealth?

To be eligible for Telehealth, you need to have completed a Face to Face consultation with one of our GPs in the last 12 months. If unsure, please call reception for advice on your eligibility and steps available to you.

Do I need an appointment for a script/referral/Medical certificate?

Yes, you need to make an appointment for these services.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Due to our clinic's busy nature, we recommend booking all appointments in advance to avoid long wait times and frustration. Walk-in appointments for emergencies are prioritised and triaged according to severity. Please book where possible to avoid delays for other patients and yourself.

What's your cancellation policy?

For GP consultation appointments, cancellations or rescheduling must be done 2 hours before your appointment for free of charge. No-shows or late cancellations will incur a $30 fee. Allied Health appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance for free of charge. No-shows or late cancellations for Allied Health appointments will also incur a $50 fee due to specific scheduling requirements. Full fees will still apply for any no shows or cancellations with Edwin Kung (Educational & Developmental Psychologist.)

Can I come to the clinic if I have cold or flu symptoms?

Please contact our reception team if you have cold or flu symptoms. We will require you to take a RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) before attending the clinic. If the RAT test is negative, you can be seen for a face-to-face consultation, but you must wear a mask during your clinic visit.
