Dr Yehlen Mendiola

Dr Yehlen finished her medical degree and Internship in the Philippines in 2005 then moved to Sydney to complete her residency and advanced training at St George, Sutherland, Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals. As part of her residency training, she rotated in Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Surgery, Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Coronary Cary Unit and different fields of Medicine including Cardiology, Haematology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Renal among others. She also did 3 years of advanced training in Rehabilitation Medicine and Geriatrics prior to completing her specialist training in General Practice.

Dr Yehlen enjoys all aspects of general practice with her areas of interest being in preventative care, women’s health, paediatrics, adolescents and mental health. She is also a qualified GP Antenatal Shared Care provider for the Southwest Sydney area. Outside of GP world she is a mum to two beautiful girls and they love to go park and restaurant hopping.
