Meet Dr Shiham Mahroof

Dr. Mahroof is a British Australian GP. He hails from a family of doctors and surgeons. Dr. Mahroof graduated from St. George’s University Hospital in London, and attained Canadian medical qualifications. Dr. Mahroof has extensive experience and interests in General Practice including, Workers Compensation; Indigenous Health; skin cancer and minor surgery; Veteran health; and has a special interest in the treatment of post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) and domestic violence. He completed Indigenous cultural competence training and Indigenous Health education. Dr. Mahroof’s medical experience spans across nations including, the United Kingdom, Gibraltar and the Middle East. Dr. Mahroof speaks multiple languages and is fluent in English & Arabic. Outside of work he is an avid snowboarder, collects and restores rare sneakers and loves to travel. Despite traversing over approximately 90 countries, Dr. Mahroof’s life‘s passion is still to spend invaluable moments with his wife, two daughters, and twin sons.
