Dr Sarah Jongbloed Bsc (Hons) MBBS PhD gained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2012 and prior to that time worked in immunological research at the University of Tasmania and the University of Glasgow, UK, where she gained a PhD in Immunology in 2006.

Dr Sarah undertook her early medical training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital working in emergency medicine, general medicine, general surgery, infectious diseases, cardiology, haematology, psychiatry and paediatrics (at the Royal Children’s Hospital).

She commenced GP training in 2016 and has progressed from GP registrar to RACGP fellow during her time working at the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. Dr Sarah thoroughly enjoys all aspects of GP care and in particular enjoys providing continuity of care with a thorough and thoughtful patient centred approach.
