Dr San Aung

Dr San Aung completed her medical degree in 2000 and achieved her Master degree in Public Health at University of Queensland in 2003.


She has worked in different units at Logan Hospital and Greenslopes Hospital.  She was involved in palliative care at Gold Coast hospital for nearly a year as a registrar. She started GP training in 2010 and completed her Fellowship as a General Practitioner from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.  She has been practising medicine for over 20 years with more than 10 years in general practice.San, a mother of 2 young girls, is interested in all aspects of general practice with special interest in geriatric medicine, chronic diseases, and preventative medicine.  She provides shared antenatal care with local hospitals including Mater Mothers Hospital.

Special Interests – All fields of general practice, chronic disease management, antenatal care, family medicine, geriatric medicine and preventive medicine.
