Dr Nisha Padmanabhan Nair

Dr Nisha Padmanabhan Nair is a highly competent, caring, empathic and professional GP.

She has worked in multiple Hospitals across Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She worked extensively in the western rural region and gathered much clinical experience before returning to Oran Park.

Nisha enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but has a particular interest in Women’s health including Pregnancy care, Sexual health, Dermatology , Worker’s Compensation and Paediatrics.  She has completed her Diploma of Child Health, Certificate of Primary care Dermatology and obtained Monash Certificate in Occupational Medicine.  Nisha qualified for  insertion and removal of Implanon and IUDs long acting contraceptive devices (Mirena and Kyleena).

She has a keen interest in Dermatology and Skin Cancer Medicine and performs minor procedures and excisions.She has worked extensively in indigenous communities and has extensive experience in working with people with chronic diseases.

She has a particular interest in Education and was awarded the GP Supervisor of the Year Award in 2021 by GP Synergy.  When not working  Nisha loves to spend time with her husband, son, fur baby and friends. She loves cooking, dancing and classical music.
