Meet Dr Nadia Akbar

Dr Nadia Akbar graduated from Punjab University, Pakistan. She can speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi in addition to English.
She has more than five years of Australian general practice experience and is now a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in a wide range of areas including Headspace, Secondary school GP, Refugee Health Centre and within the justice system. She has a special interest in the management of chronic diseases, mental health, women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health, preventative health as well as refugee health. She is passionate about holistic and high-quality healthcare.
