Meet Dr Myffy Scadden-McHugh
Dr Myffy Scadden-Mchugh attained a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney before continuing her medical studies and completing her MBBS in 2013. She undertook residency at Concord General Repatriation Hospital. She chose to specialise in general practice because of her love of working with all patient types and dealing with a broad range of medical issues. She is passionate about being part of community, managing complex chronic conditions and building lifelong relationships with patients and their families.
Dr Myffy is a fellow of the RACGP and has extensive experience from working in various medical practices throughout Sydney. Dr Myffy has a special interest in women’s and children’s health and has completed a Diploma of Child Health. She offers shared antenatal care. She also is trained in Implanon insertion and removal and Mirena removal. Dr Myffy has completed a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine at Concord Hospital and is comfortable aiding in end of life discussion and management.
Outside of medicine, Dr Myffy enjoys cooking, eating and travelling as well as dabbling in handicrafts including cross stitch and knitting.
