Meet Dr Mohna Sharma

Dr Mohna Sharma completed her medical degree at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Following internship she moved to Australia and worked as a paediatric registrar at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead before pursing general practice training.
She obtained a Master in Public Health from Sydney University in 2010 and attained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2013.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in paediatrics and woman’s health. She provides antenatal shared care with the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and works closely with the Sydney Child Health Program promoting better education in paediatrics for general practitioners.
She has a holistic approach in her practice and strongly believes in preventive medicine. She understands the importance of patient education and autonomy in the successful management of medical conditions.
Dr Sharma has a keen interest in medical education and is involved in the training of new GP registers and teaching medical students through the Sydney University. She is also a RACGP examiner.
