Meet Dr Mohammed Arif Uddin
Dr Arif Uddin graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2016. He completed his internship and residency at Blacktown, Mount Druitt and Bathurst Hospitals. He proceeded to complete his training in General Practice at clinics in Parramatta, Penrith and Prospect. He acquired his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021. He has also completed a Diploma of Child Health in 2018.
Dr Arif is passionate about the importance of providing good health education for his patients so that they can make well-informed choices about their health and wellbeing. He further channels this passion in mentoring medical students on university placement from the University of New South Wales.
Dr Arif has a special interest in sexual health medicine and family planning. He is able to perform Implanon insertions/removals and prescribe medication for the treatment of Hepatitis B.
In his spare time, Dr Arif enjoys exploring local eats and spending time with his wife, children and their cat, Mini.
