Dr Mohammed Amjad Hussain

Dr Amjad Hussain founded “Your Family Health Clinic” at Westfield Shopping Town Airport West, in 1977, which evolved into “Myhealth Airport West” in October 2018.

He has vast experience in all aspects of general practice, including Men’s health, Women’s health, Paediatrics and Adolescents Health, Geriatrics, Obesity and Weight management, Skin checks, Child health immunisations, and Chronic complex disease management.

He is passionate about providing holistic, continuous care across the lifespan of both individuals & their families. He does all overseas vaccinations except yellow fever. 

His special interests include Diabetes, Heart diseases, High blood pressure, Asthma (both adult & paediatric), Emphysema, Osteoporosis and Advanced care planning.

He is also an accredited supervisor of General Practice registrar training and affiliated with the University of Melbourne for teaching MD students, and research in general practice. 

He bulk bills aged care pensioners and children under 16 years of age.When private billing, there is an out of pocket cost of $40 for standard and $45 on weekends. 

He is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
