Meet Dr Michael Yang
Dr Michael Yang is a friendly and approachable GP who grew up in Sydney. He takes particular interest in skin conditions and skin cancers. He studied at UNSW, completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine with Distinction in 2015. He went on to train at Westmead Hospital and finished his senior residency at Westmead Children's Hospital along with a Diploma in Child Health in 2018. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020 and has completed further skin cancer training with the University of Queensland and the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Michael Yang offers skin checks and performs minor procedures including skin excisions and biopsies, small cyst and lipoma removals, and implanon insertion and removal.
He is also an accredited Yellow Fever vaccination provider for travel purposes.
In his free time, Dr Michael Yang enjoys film photography, playing guitar, and being a home barista. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
