Meet Dr Melissa Tee
Dr Tee completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney before going on to complete her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2022. She has worked across multiple hospitals, including Concord Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, Nepean Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, and Hawkesbury Hospital. She has also completed the Advanced Life Support Level 2 (ALS2) training course.
She has gained significant experience across a range of specialties, including paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, plastic surgery, geriatrics, respiratory medicine and rehabilitation. She has a strong foundation in paediatrics, having worked in paediatric emergency at Westmead Children’s Hospital and completing a paediatrics term at Canterbury Hospital, where she also cared for newborns in the special care nursery. These experiences have strengthened her ability to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
She enjoys the variety that general practice offers and values the continuity of care she can provide to individuals and families. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients.
Outside of medicine, she has a passion for baking, traveling, and discovering new restaurants and cafes around Sydney.
