Dr Maha

Dr Maha Qidwai is a holistic GP who has graduated with BMedSC (UNSW), MBBS (USYD) and has completed her FRACGP. She has also completed her Diploma in Child health, FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health and FPNSW IUD insertion certificate. She is a clinical educator and trainer at Family Planning Australia, and performs Implanon and IUD (both hormonal and copper) insertions and removals.

Dr Maha's other area of special interest is holistic health care - utilising a trauma-informed approach, she combines both Eastern and Western Medicine in assessing the mind, body and spirit as an integrative whole. Dr Maha aims to empower her patients in their health care and frequently uses yoga, meditation, ayurvedic principles and acupuncture as preventative and treatment modalities. She is an AMAC certified Medical Acupuncturist, as well as 500hour registered yoga teacher.
