Lucy graduated from Monash University in 2012 with Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery. After graduation, she worked at the Royal Melbourne hospital, Western hospital for internship, residency and basic physician training. As a junior doctor, Lucy worked in emergency departments throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland. She was also active in skin health and research and presented her work in conferences in Australia and Canada.

Lucy is passionate about integrative medicine and completed her acupuncture training with the Australian Medical Acupuncture College.
