Dr Kristi Akhi Mandal

Kristi is a first year GP trainee who trained at James Cook University, a renowned rural medical school in Townsville, known for providing students the opportunity to serve in rural areas. Following this, she completed two rotational resident years at Gold Coast University Hospital, where she particularly enjoyed paediatrics, internal medicine, and gaining hands-on suturing experience in general surgery. Having lived on the Gold Coast for two years, Kristi enjoys the beach, going to the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and is excited to continue growing her medical career.
