Meet Dr Jie Jin

Dr Jie Jin first obtained a bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Second Medical University in China. She then studied at the University of Sydney, obtaining a Master of Medicine (Reproductive Health Science and Human Genetics). She had 3 years of training as an RMO at Wollongong and St George hospitals, then 3 years of GP training at Bathurst and Broken Hill. During this time, she obtained a Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health Family planning in 2010, which allows her to do antenatal shared care with RPAH and St George hospitals. She gained a fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. She also obtained a Diploma in Child Health at Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2012. She believes that good health starts from pregnancy to birth, aiming to build long-lasting patient-doctor relationships with young families and their children.
