Dr Hemantha Gamage

Dr Hemantha Gamage is a fully qualified and experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years of medical experience in both Australia and Sri Lanka. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP, 2016), an MBBS, and a Master’s degree in Community Health from the University of Colombo.

Since moving to Australia in 2012, Dr Gamage has provided high-quality, patient-centred care across a wide range of general practice settings. He is passionate about holistic care and has a strong focus on preventative health and lifestyle-based approaches to managing chronic conditions.

Dr Gamage enjoys the full scope of general practice, with particular interests in:

• Preventative health and screening
• Elderly care
• Mental health
• Skin cancer medicine and surgery
• Weight management and metabolic health

Outside of work, Dr Gamage is a tech enthusiast who enjoys DIY projects, gardening, growing his own food, and beekeeping.
