Meet Dr David Leaf
David brings broad experience back to Barangaroo. He was one of the founding doctors and enjoyed practicing here so much that he has returned permanently.
He is a Rural Generalist (RG) with extra qualifications in emergency medicine and skin cancer detection. He is also the NSW Director of Training for the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
He is happy to see patients with any conditions.
David is a GP Supervisor accredited through GP Synergy and an expert reviewer for the Australian Journal of General Practice (AJGP).
He has served overseas with the RAAF four times and so has a special affinity with our veteran community.
Despite this, if you ask him, he considers being a Dad as his proudest achievement.
From 1st July 2021, fees will apply to routine consultations for patients not covered by a health care card, veteran’s card or those in financial difficulties.
Consultations will be up to 20minutes for routine matters but can be longer for more complex issues that need to be discussed. David prefers to be methodical in dealing with your health. Please consider that there may be preventative or surveillance health issues which need to be addressed in addition to your own concerns.
Dr David Leaf only conducts Telehealth appointments for his long term regular patients.
Dr David Leaf does not give out referrals to a dermatologist for routine skin checks.
