Meet Dr Cynthia Spiers
Dr Cynthia Spiers completed her B(Sc)Med MBBS at the University of New South Wales, Liverpool Clinical School, and graduated with first class honours in 2005. She completed her prevocational training at Liverpool Hospital and obtained her FRACGP in 2011. After taking time away from clinical medicine to care for her four children full time, she returned to practice in 2021, and recently completed the Graduate Diploma of Child Health (Western Sydney University).
Cynthia is committed to providing compassionate, whole-person care to every patient. She loves the opportunity to walk alongside & care for people across all ages and stages of life, but has particular interests in mental health, women’s and children’s health and chronic disease management. She is accredited to provide antenatal shared care and GP Focussed Psychological Strategies, and is a member of the Australian Society of Psychological Medicine and the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
Away from work Cynthia loves spending time with her family, playing violin & piano & serving in her local church.
