Dr Waqar Farooq is a dedicated GP with a patient-centered approach to healthcare. With a strong focus on evidence-based medicine, he provides comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. His areas of interest include chronic disease management, preventative health, and acute care.

Dr. Farooq has been practicing in Australia for the past 14 years, gaining extensive experience across various healthcare settings. He has worked in major hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred, Dubbo, Westmead (adult and children's hospitals) and Sutherland, refining his skills in acute care.

For the last three years, he has been practicing in the Southern Highlands providing comprehensive care to the local community.

Outside of work, Dr. Farooq values time with his family, believing that free time is family time.
