Meet Dr Abdul Rahman Alcheikh
Dr Abdul Alcheikh graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2020. He completed his internship and residency medical training at Liverpool hospital and completed terms in:
- Neurology
- Colorectal Surgery
- Renal medicine
- Emergency
- Obstetrics and gynaecology
- Neurosurgery
- Psychiatry
- Ambulatory care
Prior to this Dr. Alcheikh worked as a nuclear medicine technologist at Westmead and Hornsby hospitals providing imaging and preparing radioisotopes for patients essential for nuclear imaging. He also completed a Bachelor of health science Honours which involved tracking head movements using motion tracking technology in PET/CT imaging. Dr. Alcheikh works part-time as a career medical officer at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse managing both surgical and medical patients. Dr. Alcheikh has a passion for general practice and is committed to helping patients improve their quality of life and provide excellent quality care. He has interests in chronic disease, preventative health, mental health, antenatal care and performs minor procedures.
