    Important Update: Change in Patient App

    We wish to inform you that our practice will no longer be utilising the MyPractice App for patient interactions. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly.

    Starting April 2, 2024, our gap fees will increase to $25 to Level A & B items (including telehealth), $35 to Level C, and $45 to Level D.


    From the 3rd of July, non-medicare holder direct billing service will only be available for patients with their physical card or via their insurance Membership Apps. If the card is not able to be present on the day, a full amount of payment will be required.


    ALL Doctors are now Mixed Billing

    FROM 01 May 2023

    Dear valued community,

    In order to keep up with rising costs and continue providing you with our services, we are now required to move to a mixed-billing model.

    This means that a $20 – $50 GAP (out of pocket) fee will apply for GP Consultations.

    Eligible patients will continue to be bulk-billed: Pension/Concession card holders and children under 16 years of age only on weekdays. Fees will incur on weekends and public holidays.

    We would like to inform you that effective May 1st, we will be implementing mixed billing. We kindly request you to refer to the details provided below for further information.

    What is mixed billing?
    Mixed-billing means that most patients will be paying a “gap fee” for their appointment. A gap payment out of pocket cost between Medicare rebate and our practice’s fee.

    How will the fee be processed?
    You will be charged the FULL AMOUNT of consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then process your Medicare Rebate on behalf of you electronically. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
    Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot.
    Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient funds in your account.


    After Hours Gap Fee

    A $30 gap fee will apply to all telehealth consultations conducted after regular business hours. This fee covers appointments scheduled from 7 pm onwards on Thursdays and 1pm – 5pm on Saturdays.


    Cancellation Fee

    After three consecutive missed appointments, a $30 cancellation fee will be applied for all General Practitioner (GP) visits in the event of another no-show.

    For Allied Health appointments, a $30 cancellation fee will be charged for each missed appointment.

    For appointments with the orthopaedic surgeon, Mr. Naveen Nara, a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
