If you would like your medical records to be sent to your new treating GP at another location , please sign & complete a medical records request form at your new practice & the new practice can email this signed request form to: chermside@myhealth.net.au so that your new treating GP can continue your care.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope to be able to continue to service your healthcare needs at our other Myhealth locations.

About Myhealth Chermside Medical Clinic

Myhealth Chermside is a mixed billing Medical Centre conveniently located at the popular Westfield Shopping Centre in Chermside.
STANDARD APPOINTMENTS ARE ONLY 15mins. If you require a LONGER appointment please contact reception to book, to ensure your GP has time to accommodate your request. You may need to book a second consult on another day if a longer appointment is required and only a standard booking made.
The centre offers the highest standard of medical care with state-of-the-art facilities. We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, convenient, accessible and professional service to all our patients.
We offer a full range of medical services with pathology and comprehensive allied health services onsite. For all enquiries, please contact Myhealth Chermside.
Appointment bookings are preferred however we will do our best to accommodate any walk-ins based on our availability on the day.
We strongly advise patients to make an appointment, as emergencies and booked appointments do take priority. For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.
Appointments for Commercial Driver Licence, Insurance, Pre-Employment Paperwork, CTP and some procedures may incur private fees. Please contact us on 07 3668 0770 to enquire more about these fees.

Why is the Doctor running late for my appointment?
Your doctor may be running behind for a few reasons: 1. Your doctor may need to take urgent phone calls from hospitals or specialists regarding patient care. 2. Occasionally, some patients may need extended consultation time to address their health conditions, which is why it is essential for patients to book longer appointments if needed. 3. Medical emergencies that require immediate attention. 4. Sometimes delays are caused by previous patients arriving late to their appointments.
Are you a bulk billing clinic?
We offer mixed billing consultations Monday to Friday. Selected doctors offer bulk billing for patients under 16 years old and over 65 years old.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full amount of the consultation fee at the end of your consultation. We prefer payment via EFTPOS, which we can then process your Medicare rebate on the spot, or we can submit electronically on your behalf. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days. Please ensure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient funds in your account.
