Myhealth Chadstone is a brand new and modern medical clinic, located inside the busy and expanding Chadstone Shopping Centre. Appointment is preferred.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.
Billing Policy:
As of the 1st January 2022, $30 GAP FEE will apply to all consultations on weekend and public holiday including Face to face and Telehealth*. Some patients will continue to be bulk-billed or will be eligible for a concession fee.
Patients will have to pay the standard Medicare fee, PLUS an out of pocket (surcharge) /gap fee of $30. The Medicare fee will be reimbursed online (with valid bank account details, as stored by Medicare). For All OVHC/OSHC Insurance holders, the Gap Fee must be paid upon completion of the consultation.
Clinic Policy:
No show/ cancellation fee for GP/NP appointment 2 hours prior to the appointment : $20
No show/ cancellation fee for Allied Health Appointment 24 hours prior to the appointment : $25
Telehealth consults and Covid-19:
With the constant changes we are facing due to Covid-19, we want to reassure our Patients and our local community that we are here to help. We are constantly reviewing and updating our Policies to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of care for our patients and the wider community.
To assist us in providing the highest quality of care possible, we ask that if you are experiencing:- a fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough or body aches (regardless of your recent COVID results) please stay home and call the clinic prior to attending for a consultation. If a Telehealth Appointment is made a Doctor will provide Medical advice on the phone and if they decide a physical exam is necessary they will arrange a suitable time and place for you to attend the clinic for a face to face consultation.
In line with the Medicare changes you need to have attended the clinic for a face to face appointment in the last 12 months to be eligible for a Telehealth Appointment. If you haven’t been into the clinic in the last 12 months that’s ok we can advise you of alternative arrangements whilst on the phone.
You can still call the practice directly to book a face to face appointment. You will be asked a few screening questions by the practice staff and if the need for a Telehealth appointment is identified one will be arranged before the Doctor accepts a face to face.
How to locate our clinic:
Use the Middle Road entrance into Chadstone Shopping Centre from Warrigal Road for the easiest access.
We are right behind Chemist Warehouse and just down the path from Woolworths. We are next to National Dental Care and Kathmandu on the outskirts of the Shopping Centre.
The best parking will be at the Woolworths (Car Park E) or Coles car park (Car Park C). We are right in between both parking lots. We are also easily accessible from bus bays.
You won’t need to walk the entire Chadstone Shopping Centre to find us!
