In Budget 2023, while Medicare increases the Bulk Billing Incentives to reflect the rising cost of rent, utilities, and medical supplies, this increase only applies to children under the age of 16, pensioners and concession card holders. Considering the young/working demographics of Myhealth Central Park, we have no choice but to change our bulk-billing policy in order to maintain the high quality of medical care. About Myhealth Central Park
Myhealth Central Park opened its doors in October 2013. It is located in the exciting new Central Park complex (next door to Ribs & Burgers). We are a Bulk Billing practice* and offer additional allied health services in one convenient location – including Pathology, Physiotherapy and Psychology.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings.
Appointments
If you have any cold and flu symptoms, please make a Telehealth consult with a doctor first. Due to limited resources, our doctors may not be able to see you face to face without prior arrangements if you have any cold and flu symptoms.

Monday to Friday
• We will continue to bulk-bill children under the age of 16, pensioners, and concession card holders. There will be no gap fee for all eligible OSHC members.
• All face-to-face consultations for others will attract a gap fee of $30
• All Telehealth consults* will be bulk-billed for eligible patients **
• Procedures may attract additional fees, please check our price list and speak to your doctor first

Saturday
• We will continue to bulk-bill children under the age of 16, pensioners, and concession card holders
• All face-to-face and Telehealth consultations for others will attract a gap fee of $30.

The change applies to all eligible Medicare card holder, OVHC, and OSHC members. For all others, please speak to our receptionist.
* Telehealth consultations for less than 10 minutes only. Medicare item rules and restrictions apply.
**To be eligible for GP Telehealth services, patients must have had a face-to-face consultation at Myhealth Central Park in the 12 months before the Telehealth service.
PROCEDURE FEES
Ear Syringe: $30 (per ear)
Flu vaccination: $20
Implanon (in and out): from $50
Head to Toe Complete Skin Check: from $50 (depending on complexity)
All other procedures (including skin biopsy, suturing/suture removal..etc): Please discuss with your doctor first
These fees do not apply to:
• OSHC card holders with ALLIANZ, NIB, BUPA, CBHS, AHM and MEDIBANK
With Medicare freeze and bulk billing rebates not keeping up with the cost of rent, utilities and medical supplies, we have made the hard decision to implement these changes so that we can continue to provide the best level of care for our patients.
Note: For Medicare card holders, you will need to pay the sum of gap fee and consult fee at the end of your consultation. You can claim the consult fee back from Medicare on the spot by bringing a bank card (not credit card) with you.
PHYSIOTHERAPY APPOINTMENTS
50% Cancellation fee applies when the appointment has been cancelled within 24 hours and “no shows” . This applies to all Physiotherapy sessions ( medicare, workcover, CTP and private patients).
Patients who have an eligible EPC/care plan that was given by their doctor will still be bulk billed and no gap fee will be applied.

For all new patients, telehealth calls that go for greater than 10mins will incur a $30 gap fee.
Dr Neil Fajardo
Dr Fajardo will be charging a $30 gap payment for all patients wanting face to face appointments.
Telehealth calls will continue to be bulk billed.
Dr Fay Mayo
Dr. Fay Mayo provides bulk-billed consultations, whether in person or through telehealth.
