Ms Jenny Cheung, the founder of Mindful Psychology Practice, is a Registered Psychologist with over 11 years of clinical experience in private practice. With clinics in Barangaroo and Sydney CBD, Jenny specialises in supporting adults and older adolescents through a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment issues, grief, and relationship difficulties.
Jenny’s extensive background spans vocational rehabilitation and corporate settings, giving her a deep understanding of the unique challenges individuals face both personally and professionally. Based in the heart of Sydney, she predominantly works with clients from corporate environments, helping them navigate complex work-life dynamics, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
Accredited by Medicare and WorkCover NSW, Jenny utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She is recognised for her collaborative and personalised approach, tailoring her methods to meet each client’s unique needs.
Jenny holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma, and conjoint Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Commerce. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi), and an associate member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
