Meet Dr Derlon Hui
FRANZCP MBBS BSc(Med)
Dr Hui is a fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and obtained his undergraduate medical degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He completed his specialist training in psychiatry at Concord Centre for Mental Health. He has previously worked as a staff specialist psychiatrist at the Professor Marie Bashir Centre (PMBC), Royal Prince Alfred Hospital; as well as in the psychogeriatric and Huntington’s Disease units at St Joseph’s Hospital. Currently he works as a staff specialist in the outpatient psychogeriatric service in Canterbury community mental health; Visiting Medical Officer at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital; and in private practice.
Dr Hui is experienced in managing mood disorders, anxiety disorders and psychosis in adults and older adolescents (17-18). He has extensive experience in the management of older people (65+) experiencing mental health and cognitive concerns. He is also able to speak fluent Cantonese, and use phone interpreters if needed.

Services not provided
Dr Hui is unable to see: children & adolescents under 17; patients with ADHD, intellectual disability, autistic spectrum disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and borderline personality disorder.
He does not bulk bill, or provide reports to third parties (insurance, court, solicitors, government agencies, capacity reports).
He does not do regular prescriptions of benzodiazepines and psychostimulants.
