Meet Ellen Zhang
Ellen Zhang is a passionate optometrist who completed her Bachelor of Vision Science and Masters of Optometry with distinctions at Deakin University. Ellen has completed her clinical training across various metro and rural clinics, with experience in corporate, independent and allied health optometry.
Ellen has strong interests in anterior eye, contact lenses, low vision and ocular disease management like dry eyes and diabetic eye care. She believes good communication between various health care practitioners allows for the best patient care. Ellen is passionate about education and ensures her patients feel supported, engaged and empowered about their eye health and the importance of regular eye tests.
Outside of work, Ellen collects too many plants and buys too many books to read.
Ellen will be working with us 9am – 5pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. And will have online bookings. Half an hour appointments, but if the patient is to believe the booking may be more complex than a health check they should call the clinic.
