    Meet Michael Issac

    Mr Michael Issac is a breast, endocrine and general surgeon with expertise in breast cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatopancreatobiliary surgery and trauma.

    Mr Issac completed his MBBS at The University of Melbourne in 1999 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Michael undertook post-fellowship training in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland in the areas of breast, endocrine, head and neck, colorectal, advanced laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy.

    Mr Issac has also worked as a consultant at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals in New South Wales and at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Victoria. Mr Issac’s public hospital commitment is at The Northern Hospital.

    Mr Issac’s main areas of interest are breast and endocrine surgery, he is trained in the new area of endoscopic trans-axillary thyroid surgery and oncoplastic breast surgery. Mr Isaac performs a broad range of general surgical operations and endoscopy, he has a particular interest in laparoscopic hernia repairs, haemorrhoid artery ligation (relatively painless haemorrhoid surgery) and endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins.

    Mr Michael Issac aims to provide a prompt surgical service to all patients, and is available for urgentenquiries and will see any patients of concern as soon as possible.
