    Meet Jane Lau

    Jane is an AHPRA registered psychologist. who holds a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science from the Australian College of Applied Psychology, and a Bachelor of Psychological Science from UNSW. She has experience working with adolescents with ADHD and adults with Anxiety.

    Jane provides private counselling for people of all ages and takes a holistic approach in her work. Jane strives towards an individualised and client-centred approach, where meeting the individual’s needs and ensuring their wellbeing are the main goals of Jane.

    In her work, Jane takes a holistic approach and utilises skills from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic therapy.

    Jane has a warm and empathetic personality and is always happy to be there to listen and help clients with their concerns. Jane is also fluent in four spoken languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, and Japanese. Although the therapy sessions will mainly be conducted in English, she is happy to assist those with language barriers and with diverse cultural backgrounds.
