Francisca is a dedicated Diabetes Educator with over 18 years of experience in supporting individuals with diabetes to effectively manage their diabetes and improve their quality of life. With more than 40 years as a Registered Nurse, both overseas and in Australia, Francisca brings a wealth of experience to her work. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing, further enhancing her ability to manage complex health conditions.
Francisca specializes in providing personalized education and support, empowering patients to navigate the complexities of diabetes care, from lifestyle changes to medication management. As a bilingual Credentialled Diabetes Educator (fluent in English and Cantonese), she works with diverse populations, ensuring that patients and their families have the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health.
Francisca is skilled in teaching diabetes self-management techniques, from blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration to understanding diet and exercise's vital role in diabetes care.
